2017 Cuvee Annette

2017 Cuvee Annette
This vintage has big, daring notes of fruit, volcanic soil, blueberries, and blackcurrant. The mouth feel is bold and concentrated, with dense tannins and a long, luxurious, lingering finish. You'll notice how well the classic Bordeaux style plays in this beautiful, bold wine, with a dark color, long legs, and age worthy composition. We have never before done the Cuvee Annette with as much Petit Verdot as this vintage, and we think you'll enjoy the unique heraceous notes and deep color.
Cuvee Annette is creafted from small batches of fruit harvested from Annette's block in the Dimaond Mine Vineyard. The wine is intense and complex, yet retains an elegance that stems form the gentle hands-on treatment.
Pairs well with Six Sigma grass-fed beef. Perfect for dessert with a cheese plate; try it with a bittersweet chocolate cake.
All fruit grown in Annette's Vineyard. Aged 24 months in French Oak, 40% new. Blend 40% Merlot, 40% Petit Verdot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Alcohol 13.6%. Production 200 cases.
